Preventive care for FACET SYNDROME

Preventive care primarily is directed at avoidance of activities that tend to produce these symptoms. It is necessary to maintain good posture, with avoidance of abnormal positioning of the pelvis.

Stretching and range of motion of the back and abdomen are useful in eliminating flare ups of facet syndrome. Likewise, strengthening of the abdominal and pelvic muscles help to diminish the occurrence of facet syndrome.
